CLARIFICATION TEXT ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
As BSG TURİZM ve SAĞLIK HİZMETLERİ TİC. LTD. ŞTİ. (“BSGGLOBE”), we give great importance to patient privacy and to processing and preserving all kinds of personal data of our patients. The personal data is processed within the scope and framework described below by BSGGLOBE in the capacity of “data controller” within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the relevant legal legislation.
The BSGGLOBE Clarification Text on the Processing of Personal Data (“Clarification Text”) has been prepared in accordance with the article titled “Data Controller’s Obligation to Inform” in Article 10 of the KVKK; in order to inform you in the most transparent way about the identity of the data controller, the method and legal reason for collecting your personal data, the purpose for which this data will be processed, to whom and for what purpose it can be transferred, and what your rights are listed in Article 11 of the KVKK.
- Method and Legal Grounds for Collection of Personal Data
Pursuant to the KVKK, personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. The special categories of personal data, especially personal health data, and general categories of personal data are collected verbally, in writing or electronically by means of call center, website, online services and similar methods, depending on the health services provided, in accordance with the following purposes, legislation on health services, KVKK and related secondary regulations.
The personal data collected by physical and/or electronic methods is required for the protection of the life or bodily integrity of the person himself/herself or someone else, who is unable to disclose his/her consent due to actual impossibility or whose consent is not recognized as legally valid. It is collected based on the legal reasons for the protection of public health, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, planning and management of health services and financing.

- Taking necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure data security,
- Analyze your use of healthcare services and store your health data for the purpose of developing and improving healthcare services,
- Maintaining information about your health data that must be kept in accordance with the relevant legislation,
- Carrying out auditing and/or regulatory duties to be carried out by the authorized and authorized public institutions and organizations and professional organizations in the nature of public institutions,
- Fulfillment of information and document requests by judicial bodies and/or administrative authorities,
- Ensuring financial reconciliation with the contracted institutions regarding the health services provided to you,
- Compliance with the policies and procedures of organizations that have a business relationship with hospitals and other institutions providing treatment,
- Conducting emergency processes of BSGGLOBE, hospitals and other institutions providing treatment; conducting medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, including but not limited to measuring patient satisfaction,

- Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data processed within the scope of KVKK and other relevant legislation, providing information to authorized persons, institutions and organizations at home and / or abroad, ensuring the security of hospital operations, carrying out audit and investigation activities, improving the efficiency of operational management within the hospital, ensuring risk management and quality improvement actions, The Ministry of Health, Provincial-District Health Directorates and their affiliated sub-units, family medicine centers, private insurance companies, Social Security Institution, family medicine centers, private insurance companies, Social Security Institution, especially the Ministry of Health, Provincial-District Health Directorates and their sub-units within the framework of the provisions of national and international legislation in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, especially confirming your relationship with contracted institutions and carrying out emergency processes, The General Directorate of Security and relevant law enforcement agencies, the General Directorate of Population, the Pharmacists Association of Turkey, judicial authorities, laboratories, medical centers and other third parties providing health services that we have contracted for medical diagnosis, the health institution to which the patient is referred or to which the patient applies, your authorized representatives, the institution to which you are affiliated and/or employed, third parties, including lawyers, tax consultants and auditors, regulatory and supervisory bodies and governmental authorities, domestic or foreign systems and/or companies within the group of companies to which BSGGLOBE is affiliated, suppliers whose services we benefit from or cooperate with.

- To request compensation for damages in case you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.
